I think the hockey gods hate us. This is ridiculous. Seriously, what the hell are we doing to our defence? I can't remember the last time we went a full year without a serious injury to at least 2 of our top 4.

It's a marvel (read: Luongo) that this team is still in playoff contention.

Luongo will be nominatd for the Vez and he will most likely win it as I think the voters are tired of Brodeur..even though Brodeur has been playing better this year now.

Luongo should get small play for the Hart he shouldn't be top 3.. but really nobody should even be close to Ovechkin for the Hart.

agree with the Hart except he should be top 3

1. Ovechkin, 2. Iginla 3. Luongo with Iginla probably winning the Lester.

I dont think anyone will ever get tired of voting for Brodeur for Vezina.

The reason for the Canucks oft injured defence this season is the same as its been for years. The don't have a legitamite tough scrapper on the blue line to beat the crap out of the overly agressive forecheckers the other teams employ against them. Ohlund has nearly been destroyed by all the hits he has taken in the last five years. He is a shell of his former self.

stress fractures on the outside of the vertebra is the update from Nonis.

its like slight fracture of the ribs and only thing that keeps you out is pain threshold.

Honestly, i don't know if that's really helpful for the chemistry in the current situation....

This may be his 'CAPTAIN" moment...not that he is not already the captain in the room....Willie does not tell the coach he can't go..Obviously he tells the GM with his public comments....and the GM tells the coach what to do...it may start to get political ..... either way..he needs to heal...& AV needs him to keep his job....
