IMO the HF Futurewatch rankings always have me scratching my head, but they are as good as any list, I suppose. They always seem to go hard on the AHL guys and overweight WJC performances.

Happy to see Grabner on that list, though I'd put my money on Mason Raymond being the better NHLer seeing as how well he's played in the WCHA this year. Niskanen (his teammate) is on the list at 73, tho.

Kind of surprised to see Bourdon that high, but that's great. No Edler or Koltsov either. IMHO Edler is probably our most NHL ready prospect?

I'm also kind of surprised to see how low Bryan Little, Montoya, and Brian Lee were ranked. And Irving and Bernier seem a bit high. Junior goalies, no matter how good they seem to look in the CHL, are still a crapshoot to be good in the NHL (or even the AHL). Goalies seem the toughest to rank. I remember a few years ago everyone saying Ari Ahonen was going to push Brodeur for his job, LOL.

More often than not, though, their top 10 do become sure-fire productive NHLers. I remember them having Klesla as #1 one year (ahead of Heatley and Gaborik), but I'm just nitpicking....
