The Kevin Bieksa Interview

Post by Brian CC »

Canucks Corner visitors were recently given the opportunity to interview a Vancouver Canucks player. They chose defenseman Kevin Bieksa.

Visitors submitted questions which were submitted in a one on one interview and recorded exclusively for this site

We would like to thank Canucks.com for giving us this rare player access for our visitors.

Thanks so much Brian. It's pretty cool to hear Bieksa answering a couple of my questions. He's my current favourite Canuck so it's doubly awesome. Once again you prove you run the best Canucks site on the internet. :D

Great job... interesting to hear a well-thought-out answer to the instigator question from a guy who actually has an interest in it.

His response was a lot more intelligent than a lot of the knee-jerk fan reaction.

Some very insightful comments.

In particular the comment about increased ice time. How much easier it is when getting regular shifts rather than sitting for stretches and getting minimal minutes.

Hopefully posters will twig onto this when complaining about role players who only get a few shifts a game.

Yes, it's their "role", but it doesn't make it any easier. Just ask BXcellent 8-)
