I think that too, both have to win 15 respectively 16 out of their last 21 games.
Not impossible but very unlikely.

One of those 3 point games tonight (Feb. 28):

2-1 Calgary over Minnesota in a shootout. :(

Now there is a tie for first place in the NW.

No there isn't. Vancouver is in 3rd place, Calgary 7th, & Minny is in 8th.

Van 1st, Calgary 2nd !

A real tie would be if they have the same points, same number of games, same number of wins, an equal season series, same number of goals scored and goals against. ;)

Colorado is now 6 points behind Calgary with 1 game in hand and 2 head-to-head match ups against them. It's still a long shot but makes for some interesting time for Calgary fans!

The Avs are only 4 back now and 8-1-1 in their last 10.

The Avs are back on track. Now this will be a battle 'til the last day, Flames at Denver. Imo Colorado has the "easier" schedule but they still have to play the Canucks 3 times. We could help Calgary considerably, shall we ?

I'm just listening to Ferraro now, in his opinion the flamers are about to implode.

God I just love that. 8-)

As much as I hate Calgary, not having the Avs make the playoffs would be nice.

Yes, I agree, having Colorado miss would be nice. But having Calgary miss would be even nicer.
