A straw poll of Professional Hockey Writers Association members has our Nucks' beloved backstopper in third place for the NHL's MVP award.

He'll only get it if we get past the first round and keeps it up the rest of the way.

if luongo takes us to the cup theres no one else that will get it. lets face it, he has single handedly turned the canucks around.

Hart voting is done before the playoffs start. It's regular season only.

It'll be hard to pry votes away from what's his name in Pittsburg and who ever plays in goal for New Jersey. Those guys are pretty important for their teams too. But it is nice to have a player in the conversation.

Not a chance he gets it.

He's up against some stiff competition in Brodeur and Crosby, but if Luongo keeps stealing games like he has been I think he could have a very good shot at the Hart.
