Hello fans of the Canuck Nation,
I no longer live in BC, so I have to follow the team, and hockey in general, on the Internet. Has there been a single trade this season? I know it is only 15 or so games in to the season, but isn't the lack of trade action a little enigmatic? Do you think this is a symptom of life in the new NHL?
Hail Canucks Hail!
Has there been any trades in the NHL this season?

The new CBA makes it harder to trade players because there's a salary cap. It's complicated, so GM's want to take the time to figure out money matters first.
The only trade thus far this year has been minor, with Dan Corso going from Philly to Tampa. Yanic Perreault is the biggest UFA signing thus far.

and then there were 3 more...
trades. Anaheim traded 2 players away and got some guy named Parros (sp?).
So now the question is, what does burkie have up his sleeve. Could be interesting.

Wow Burke traded a 2nd round pick for a fourth-line enforcer who was claimed off waivers earlier this season!!!! I'm sure he could have gotten an enforcer for much less than that some where else?!?!
