The wild will probably rally to the cause to represent their city in their dark days, like the Knights did in Vegas after the mass shooting.
This will lead to another sad season to add to the Canuck's litany.
They're hooped.
Vancouver needs something like a terrorist bombing to stand any chance.
:wow:

Actually, it will be goaltending that loses the first couple games.

Markstrom has a history of letting in a couple softies right after training camps. If he can’t correct this, it will tough to correct this starting each game down 1-0 in the first 5 minutes while only giving up 3 shots...

To begin with, goal tending will win the first couple of games of a series. They'll be a lot of breakaways and quality chances.
Good team defense will be that hardest and slowest part of the game to return. Great skating seems to come natural to some.
I'm assuming Dubnyk will get the 1st game, if he loses they'll throw in Stalock.

Canucks probably got a good read on Dub by now, so Ian Clark, Sanford, Marky/Demko should get a good strengths/weaknesses read on Stalock.
A long time ago, a baseball player remarked: "If I owned a ballclub, I'd hire a $5,000 coach and a $15,000 scout."

Here's a half decent article written about the Wild shortly before the pause. Lets hope the nux can use all this time to break down their zone exits and forechecking tendencies because if we're not controlling possession numbers better theyre gonna be a handful

"... without further adieu ..."

Illitterate morons!

It's "without further ado". Adieu is French for goodbye or farewell. Literally means "to God".
You want to say "without messing around any more", "without beating around the bush anymore", so it's ado.

"Without further goodbye" WTF?

Ruined the whole article for me. :(

As Canadians I'm sure you also know that bleu is not pronounced like blue.

Adieu rhymes with bleu, not blue, so it doesn't even sound like ado.

It's more like ad-yer.

If you had the Napkin in your bottom pairing i would feel alot better than tiny troy...fatburger can hit, not sure ifnBemn has it in him
Playoff benn has to hit
Meyers has to hit
Edler can hit
Expect a much more physical Tanev as well.
Hes never played that way before...why would he now? If anything watch him avoid injury so he doesnt fuck up his big payday
Does he really strike you as the type of player who won't give it his all, no matter what the circumstances? Not sure he will "play it safe" for a payday...

Sometime you hit the pipe, sometimes the pipe hits back. LOL
Tanev will giver for sure, but he's not a hitter.

UK slang there ol' mick.
Knackered (or sometimes “ready for the knackers yard”) means that someone is extremely tired.
This comes from “knacker,” which is an older word. It refers to a person who slaughters old worn-out horses who can no longer work.

Very interesting, but how does one pronounce "Hammarscrotum?" Is it Ham-MAR-scrotum, or HAM-mar-SCRO-tum?
