He’s sooooo useless. It’s going to be a heavy price. If you had two compliance buyouts who would you use it on?
What about attaching Juolevi to Eriksson to some team for a second or even third round pick. I would actually do that.
Know we need defense but don't have confidence Olli will be NHL caliber.

I think you’d have to cough up a 2nd and Olaf to move the Air Thief and maybe get back a 7th.

Supposedly lucic was considering retiring earlier this year in Calgary, I think both him and Louie hang them up this offseason.
Would be great news

Some posters don’t realize that Eriksson will need a significant asset attached to him to move his sorry ass. There’s a lot of deadweight contracts on this team that would be hard to move.

A comparable would be Toilet adding that 1st to Marlo to get rid of him but Loui has 2 more years so a 1st +?
Not really comparable because Marleau cost Carolina $6.5M in real dollars for zero performance.
After July, Loui would cost a team $5M in real dollars for two years as a bottom sixer/penalty-killer.
But hey, why not just choose to believe Loui will decide to retire so as to tend to his financial empire.

Where are these rumours coming from? I keep seeing people write this but I have never heard this anywhere on the WWW. I do not believe for a moment that either of these players (or others) will ever leave millions on table. Yes some people have walked away but they are few, most times there seems to be an "illness" that allows them to be still paid not play and count toward the cap (except where it is required).
Loui will still be on this teams roster coming game 1 of the 2020/21 season - book it Tuna style.

Hearing the Canucks tried the last few days on Wayne Simmonds in NJ but couldn’t make it work cap-wise, perhaps because Brock Boeser could return before the end of the regular season. So as of now, the Simmonds option not as likely for Van...
