I was reading that Drouin is on the block from the Habs..
Goldobin, Sutter/Erickson, Sautner (he just needs to go), and perhaps a Lind type for Drouin and a 2nd? --- no second included if they take both Sutter and Erickson. (We retain 1/2 on Sutter)
They get depth and NHL lineup players, we get roster space and cap relief.
Drouin is a flawed player who has not achieved his potential (something like Matt Duchene) and is unlikely to ever do so.
But that wouldn't be anything close to the best deal the Habs could get for him.

Drouin sucks Skyo. Hes like Jake but just imagine 5x the hit.
No thanks
Both teams do addition by subtraction.
We move two forwards, notably Eriksson, get an upgrade on Baertschi (who has never played more than 70 games in season)
Juolevi will be tough to lose.
Drouin is a legitimate top 6 player who in the last 3 season has avg .73ppg, .6ppg and .65ppg and had a solid playoff performance with TBL. With his career avg he'll likely be a perennial 50-60pt guy per season, while playing better in the post season.

Drouin is a bum, it’s a toss up between Tampa and Montreal who won that trade. Apparently Sergachyev was no better last season

And we could just take Alzner off waivers if we wanted him
Alzner is an upstanding member of the rich BC homeboy bums like Lucic, Ladd, Seabrook, Brouwer, Garrison. Old school hockey

“Josh Ho-Sang clearly wants a fresh start somewhere else. He wants to hit the reset button on his career. It sounds like he is literally waiting for a trade to come his way. He’s not opposed to playing in the American Hockey League, starting in the AHL with a new team. But, right now that is all in the hands of general manager Lou Lamoriello.”
Goldy ain't fitting in here, Ho-Sang ain't fitting in with the NYI, both are not good defensively, both cleared waivers and its a contract spot for contract spot making similar caps.
It's just a roll of the dice for both teams to hope one can find some magic with a new team, if not they both can be let go to UFA July 1st.

A guy who is trying to fix his on ice performance for a guy who is trying to fix his off ice performance before he can even see the ice.
It's the Patriots way.
slap Ho-Sang with Petey for a few shifts...don't click, send him to Utica.
Miller-Petey-Ho-Sang
Pearson-Horvat-Boeser (spread the scoring out a bit and get Boeser away from elite defenders till his mojo is back, Boeser played great with Bo before)
Ferlund-Sutter-JV (fast crash and bang line)
