Ferraro sold out to the Vancouver Whine Tour a while ago. The 1040 Gillis Bro’s got to him. He’s a sham now. You want an unpolluted well spoken hockey perspective now? None other than Jamie McLennan will satisfy those needs. Ferraro is a sideline bitcher/moaner 1040 Gillis Bro now

Ferraro used to be good but the 1040 Bro’s got to him. Shame really

It isn't that bad. In fact 650am can be very critical on the current regime. I switch back and forth and am hard pressed which is more
informative and gives a superior listening experience.
Besides; Who would ever waste all their time talking about General Managers when there is a plenitude of other Canuck hockey news.

50% shocked Baertschi didn't get claimed, but like many have said their teams have similar depth wingers and many worried about Bart's health.

Well he'll be a quality call-up later on, and hope his health holds up, could be a blessing in disguise he goes to Utica to get confidence back after his concussions.

Wonder what Goldy will do - guess he'll collect his paychecks in Utica.

Comets gonna be stacked this season.

Gonna guess Mick doesn't think Trent Cull is a good coach for Utica.

In any case glad Baertschi could come back, but was kinda hoping his cap would go and maybe a trade will happen where we can shed most of his cap, while taking back a contract back that expires July 1st.

As coach of the Utica Comets, Trent Cull has a huge responsibility. With and for the Canucks but also to the City of Utica.
In regards to his obligation to the Canucks, development is a #1 priority along with a scenario of getting a player's game back in order
when the parent team deems it necessary and re-assigns him there. The minor league is a balancing act between young talent and
journeyman players. Motivation, in some cases is difficult.

I didn't see as much as I'd hoped last year. Appeared call-ups last year were use to a different system. Cull and Green, in a perfect world,
should be on the same page as much as possible. They should chat frequently.

As opposed to the Tortorella short era where he never contacted the minor league team at all. Or so the story goes.

Going into his third year, like Green, Cull has to be progressively progressive. Gotta have some positive results. No doubt, they'll
(the Canucks) will need help a few times this year again.

Other than Jake Virtanen that bottom six is very slow. I can’t see them having the puck very often.

I’m one of a couple people that would like to see a third line of Roussel, Gaudette and Virtanen

Eriksson is a better all around player than Baertschi. The problem being, the Gillis Bros allow for Eriksson’s contract to screw up with their assessment. Baertschi was a constant disappearing act and the frustration of many fans and media, but as usual, that is forgotten. It always ends up becoming about Eriksson and his contract with every whiner in this city. I got news for you - Baertschi isn’t that good. Not too mention that everybody knew there was going to be a sacrificial lamb which seems to be common place with every team in the NHL these days thanks to the cap and the fact that young players coming off their entry level contracts these days are hitting jack pot like we’ve never seen before
Moving on from Baertschi is good news.

It reflects depth.

It further moves us away from the limbo we were in during those first Benning years when he had no picks, no trades and cadavers holding down roster spots.

It gives our young up and comers a roster spot to compete for.

You hate to see a guy lose a seat in an NHL dressing room so there is sympathy for the guy.

And I agree, I don’t see how erriksson is relevant to this move.

Is it?

Does it?

Would it not be better to have him on the third line rather than those who currently are filling that position?

Despite all the talk about how great our bottom six guys are defensively, those bottom six had the worst goal differential in the league playing 5 on 5 last year. And how much have those bottom six changed since last year? Well, there is Leivo....

So does it make more since to keep the same players and style in the bottom six and hope that things magically get better for them or does having more depth in the top six mean that those who were previously in the top six should push the bottom six down rather than being pushed out themselves?
Invincibility lies in oneself.
Vincibility lies in the enemy.
