It would be idiotic to be buyers at the deadline.

Some people have no patience for a rebuild

Madden is a star in the making, Demko future no. 1 and a 2019 1st for an overrated 30 year old making $10 million per for 6 years after this? Are you kidding me!? If I was Dallas I’d snap it up

Did you not just post this?

If I was Dallas I’d move that future boat anchor contract out now otherwise they are looking at a Seabrook, Ladd, Alzner situation in a couple years. Washed up BC hockey players with terrible contracts

TDD

- MDZ dealt for a 2020 6th rounder.

- Gagner for equal cap hit dman.

Probably all that happens.

If the Canucks keep up with this .750 pave the rest of the way we won’t be sellers or buyers. Resigning Edler is paramount

Next year we could see the likes of Hughes, Demko, Dahlen, Juolevi, Gaudette pushing for jobs. MDZ is done, Pouliot and Granlund are next. Goldobin is still in danger if he doesn’t get going soon

You might see off season trades if anything, doesn’t Sutters contract get modified to a 15 team trade list this summer? I like Beagle on the 4th. It’s between Sutter and Gaudette for the 3rd slot.

I don't think we should be buyers at the deadline. Obviously most of MDZ, Pouliot, Gagner and maybe Granlund will be shipped out for picks. The only guy of value I can see being traded is Sutter. Doubt they move either Edler or Tanev now. I also think Edler will be re-signed now.

You gotta keep Edler and Tanev.

Sutter is the one I’d be moving

MDZ, Pouliot, Gagner, Schaller, Granlund, Biega are on their last legs, won’t get much for them

Stecher, Nilsson and Sutter are who you’re trading if you want decent assets in return

You aren’t getting anything for Nilsson. Maybe a used condom or a cocktail weenie
