Watching the Oilers/Avalanche game, holy fuck are the Oilers hopeless. Losing 4-0 at home. It’s a marvel they are this bad after so many top 10 draft picks over the last decade, 4 of them 1st overall picks.

That’s a good tilt, old school. Love it!

Brayden Point ffs. Apparently, and unlike Mike Gillis. Winning teams like The Tampa Lightning don't need to finish in the lottery mix to draft well. 2nd round pick Kucherov says hi.

Kucherov - 4th in the league in points
Point - 9th in the league in points

Brayden Point would have been an excellent 2nd round pick in 2014.

When Demko is our no. 1 goalie and Tryamkin is running the 2 pairing along side Juolevi, lets talk about this again then.

Remember, this is the samed Blobbee who wanted Jack Wise instead of Tyler Madden.

I think Blobby and The Dude landed in the wrong thread again.

In "relevant" news...

The Coilers are back to their old selves again. We aren't any better, but there's a certain deliciousness to watching a team that is stuffed with talented players continually suck and lose because of mistakes and laziness.....especially when it's a division rival. Rumours are circulating that Joel Q was up first for the Oilers job, but declined so they went with Hitch.....that's a pretty good "consolation" prize.

Willie The Moustache stapled Kovalchuk to the bench for the entire 3rd period only giving him 7 minutes and change all night. Read someone's speculation last night that if Coach Q or McLellan are interested Desjardains could find himself replaced in short order as his title is interim head coach with no actual defined parameters on the time frame.

I can't remember a season where there was so much head coach turnover before Christmas.

I like the Canucks young core much better than the Oilers.

Ya man this is true. Chiarellis' job must be in danger. How the fuck can it not? He's made more blunders with premium assets than any gm in recent memory since the Milbury circus

Call me crazy but I think Hitch will turn things around in Edmonton.

He'll get them to work hard and focus a little on defense for a change.

Clipboard was saying the other day that he sees Kovalchuk as a power play specialist, now this.

Yeah, basically calling his GM a tard for that contract and pissing off the big russkie at the same time.

Willie was never accused of being bright...
