Apparently Goldobin making quite a case for himself. (3 goals in a scrimmage).
Juolevi getting better every day as well.

I really hope we don't lose the Golden-One to waivers. He reminds me of a good one that got away in Machine Gun Grabner. Hopefully the Golden-One can keep his hot hand in the pre-season games and force the Pall Bearer & Co. to keep him. We have alot of plumbers now, so we could really use some players like Golds who has the skills and potential. We didn't play any pre-season games yet, but I think I'd keep Golds over Gauncer and Lipstick.

Ya, agreed. He's exciting.
We have a "G" crowd.
Gaunce should be in Utica.
Gagne should be somewhere. :evil:
Almost everyone I hear think Gaudette will start on the farm. Doubt that. Hobey doubts it too.
Seriously; I think if Green wanted to send him there, he would be over ruled.

Goldobin has too much potential without having been given a full shot. He’d be lost on waivers. The team needs to give him a full season to see what he can develop for himself. If he doesn’t live up then worry about him next year. I’d be choked if they waived him and he failed to clear.
The only HW the Canucks need

Travis wants to see how Goldy will do.

Baertschi - Pettersson - Goldy line tonight. :thumbs:
A long time ago, a baseball player remarked: "If I owned a ballclub, I'd hire a $5,000 coach and a $15,000 scout."

He wants to be a Cherry Picker, but I know Cherry Pickers, and he ain’t no Cherry Picker. Picking is an art that stretches the opposition, forces defences back and punishes them when they fail, but good Pickers have great timing and are not defensively inept. Now Pavel was a fine Cherry Picker and could be on my team any day. The sooner Goldobin ends up in the KHL and Gagner gets moved, the sooner Dahlen gets his rightful spot on the team. Goldobin might get some points, but he will give up many more. Let Dahlen do the picking. Waive Goldy goodbye. My decision is final (gavel drop).
We are all Jim Benning.

So your saying, in your considered opinion, Goldy would quite likely not do this;

I have little faith in Goldy sticking with the team, this is his last kick at the cat so he better make it. I want to be surprised and excited and see him get 40 points and be an exciting player.
