Dahlen is a longshot to make the team. Remember, last year he couldn't even crack the Utica lineup. Best case scenario is he gets a few games here and there.
Mono was the reason why Dahlen did not play for Utica last season. TBH, he would be on the top line if he was healthy.

When he signed the contract in April, the Comets had way too many rookies and could not fit them all in. Since Dahlen was pretty much the last one to arrive, he did not have much of a chance to replace someone who was there earlier.

I think you're right there Jovo. I had read the Botch article about him being overwhelmed, but on closer reading it was due to the mono which didn't really clear up until January. That said, he was only in Sweden's 2nd tier league last year; lesser competition, larger ice surface. It would be a major accomplishement if he could to jump right into the NHL.

True but he dominated big time....just like someone who is playing a level or 2 below their capabilities should.

23g 21a in 44 games. Big ice also is much harder to rack up the points. I think he also was league mvp and/or playoffs mvp.

I'd say thats about as good of a season as you can get in that league. I'd say hes blue chip all the way

Fillip Forsberg came out of that league and so did Hampus Lindholm. Neither played in the elite league

Sounds like someone else is writing under his name.
I'm sure that's not the case but to me, that doesn't even come close to McKenzie's style.
Could dissect it more but I'll just say; Poor job.
Is it also someone else mimicking his voice on the bobcast?
I said writing, and that's what I meant. You think he's speaking spontaneously ? Not likely.
Sounds like he's just scanning forums if you ask me.
Oh and; :baaa:
I'll save pretend paper and just go;       bos

Too bad. He's got some pop.
Guys like Gagne, Gaunce, Granlund, etc., can't find their lil triggers.
Here is a rhetorical question. Would you dump our current players who start with the letter "G" for our prospect who start with the letter "G". That's Gagner, Gaunce, Gudbranson and Granlund for Goldobin, Gadovich and Gaudette???
The Cup is soooooo ours!!!!!!!

Before his first full NHL season, Forsberg played a season in Milwakee. Lindholm spent a season in Norfolk before cracking the Ducks lineup.

True enough. The lineups those players were trying to crack were also a lot better and deeper than the Canucks.
Lindholm was playing in the AHL as an 18 year old and playing top 4 minutes the following season in the NHL at 19.

He's probably trying to avoid so many live radio interviews.
Thing is, he was good at that.
This lets go all out on the elan, not so much.
Dragging up the "change" in upper management and even speculating bad feelings without any inside knowledge, why?

Call it a hunch but I bet Dahlen makes the squad, consequently a couple players are going to be waived or dealt to make room for the three amigos, EP, Gaud, Dahlen.
A long time ago, a baseball player remarked: "If I owned a ballclub, I'd hire a $5,000 coach and a $15,000 scout."
