He has a nice inexpensive contract but will be battling for a bottom six spot. He won’t impede the opportunities for players like Goldobin, Darlene, Pettersson. Maybe Leipsic.

If he is defensively responsible and he isn’t surrending offensive opportunities to the opposition he will become a Green player. If he can’t be trusted in that role then there is no other role for him.
He is defensively responsible though. He started quite a few of his shifts in his own zone. Sure he isn’t gifted offensively but you need guys to kill penalties, win faceoffs and play good defensive hockey. I’d take him over Granlund or Gagner. These guys are both abysmal without the puck and butter soft. To me he’s a bubble guy. I just get a kick out of the pee pee pants posters pissing and moaning about a 750 k player with some of the other crooks taking up space on a bad team in a cap league. The 13th forward doesn’t move the needle very much.

And even better in Blob's books, this opens the door for Gaunce to get re-called!

Bump...

What were seeing right now is an actual team forming before our eyes. Young guys all finding their game at the same time...guys trying to match other guys success,

Not to channel my inner Tuna too much but theres a scenario forming where they could maintain a winning pace, add Q. Hughes late and go on a deep, deep run. I also see a game breaker in QH making an instant impact something like what petey is doing.

We as canucks fans haven't ever experienced a rookie with this kind of game changing talent before...and i even include Bure as a rookie in this summation.

The skys the limit fellers. Buckle up

It’s going to happen sooner than we think

Pettersson is a winner. The kids here and coming (Hughes) are driven athletes, what you want from your players, and that tone in the dressing will rub off on the rest the team

I’m sure Tryamkin is itching to get back with what he is seeing here, new coach, Goldobin, Pettersson etc

Benning is a Genius. Nuff said, some can’t handle a rebuild, some can, that’s been established
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

A year ago, after the 1st 15 games, Vancouver sat 8-5-2. with no OT or shootout wins. 18pts

This year they are 9-6 with 3 OT wins and 1 shootout win. 18 pts
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.
