Don’t know anything about rumours, but in my opinion if these signing are designed to replace Gagner, Gaunce and Goldobin, the Canucks are further ahead.

I like Gaunce but they got to move out Granlund and Gagner. You gotta think Beagle and Roussel eliminate Archibald. I’m assuming Pettersson and Dahlen eliminate Goldobin. I’m still patient with Goldobin. If the kid could put it all together. Mottes in trouble. I like Leipsic

He isn’t willing enough to punish the opposition D even if he could get there. He’s an AHL player. Not a bad option to have in Utica as a hard working veteran. Just not enough foot speed to play in the NHL for more than an occasional call up.

If Paul Bearer can ditch two to four of Sutter, Gaunce, Goldy, Baertschi, Granlund, Gagner for picks of young D men it’s fine. He has to thin out that herd.
