I think Elmer had a decent UFA off season in 2014 and would give him a passing grade of C for Miller and Vrbata.
Ummmm... didn't you CRAP ALL OVER the Miller signing for 3 years? ("too old" and you wanted to run with Lack)
You didn't like the Vrbata signing much either... you were overly concerned with cap space for some reason.
I didn’t love either signing but they look amazing compared to Louis.
But you said "you would have given a passing grade of C for Miller and Vrbata."
No you wouldn't have... in fact YOU DIDN'T.
If I compare it to the 2016 off season it gets a C.
But in 2014 you called it a fail.
Do you see what I mean about you and the kind of poll you are suggesting?
No matter what happens, you will always call it a fail... AT THE TIME.

Eriksson is here for another four years.
Oh do tell us more Nostradamus...
He’s signed for four more years and has a ntc
And?
I find it difficult to believe any team would trade for the lazy piece of shit.
I also think he knows he can hide on this team with minimal effort and nobody gives a shit except the fans. The coaches and management don’t care how poorly he plays or how little effort he puts in. He would not get this golden boy treatment anywhere else so I can’t see him accepting a trade.
YOU THINK he is lazy.
YOU THINK no team would trade for him.
YOU THINK the coaches and management don’t care about his performance.
YOU THINK he wouldn't waive (btw it's a modified NTC next year)
Well I suppose you are entitled to your wrong opinions.

The signing has not effected the rebuild negatively... and the positives are of the placeholder/mentor variety.
I dont know if i want a mentor who avoids contact like that. Fuck some players get more than 7 hits in a game during chippy line changes. About the only positive is that the cap hit hasnt been a factor yet.
There must be more to all this. There has to be. Maybe he only plays for certain coaches or only during contract years

I get a kick out of the people who vehemently defend this player and his contract
“I don’t care what you and some other poster were talking about”

Like I say, they can't all be assholes.
Thats the thing Doc....he is being an asshole. To us the fans and the organization that tossed him that kind of money to bail on plays

Barely a week after another exciting draft where we got some more good prospects added to the cupboard, with development camp starting so we can see where some of they are... Should be such hope and excitement... and the same old diarrhea is flooding this place.
Can't even let real Canuck fans enjoy the moment without shitting, pissing, moaning and being hindsight heroes.
Same old, same old.

You're right Hank. Time to let go...there isnt any end to the LE slam party. Maybe he comes to play next year. Its not like hes never had success...in fact hes sucked this bad before and rebounded to 30 goals so anything is possible
