The team looks slower without Gaudette. Need him back and move Sutter or Granlund to the wing.
Don’t say that blob thinks he’s slow
I said he can use another gear. He is an average skater at this point. The whole team is very slow compared to the quicker teams. Out of the forwards on the team right now Gaudette would be mid pack at best as far as speed goes. That said I did say I liked the player. Not surprised you glossed over that.
I know you like him, just tweaking your nips a little

He was horrendous last night.
Every player has a bad night, try to see the big picture little guy. 8-)
The Pitt Lake vacationer can't see past no-Tkachuk, UFA Loui, Sutter and Guds. He's a Benning Hater.
If you canoe across pitt lake from the boat launch, can you still go full hillbilly deliverance up widgeon creek? That place was fuckin awesome in the 70s and 80s
All I know with regards to vacationing to the great Pitt Lake is that the required essentials are - a homemade potato gun, as many Kokanee beers you can pack as possible, loads of jerry cans, ghetto blaster, beebee guns
Well ya...of course you bring all that. You did say vacation ya?

Oh and you forgot equipment to make a campfire hot tub in your truck box...

8 points, 1 fight, his fancy stats reek. What exactly is he good at?
Travis Hamonic (face smashed in by Gudbranson) has 3 goals 8 assists vs Guds 2 goals 6 assists, wow, what a separation for a player the Flames paid a ransom for - 12th overall lottery pick (Dobson) and a 2nd round pick in 2018 and a 2nd round pick in 2019 vs Tweener McCann (with the bad attitude) 7 goals and 10 assists, and Rasmus Asplund (2nd round pick) and a 4th round pick (LMAO)
Not only this but guddy hasn’t had a d partner equivalent to what hamonic gets to play with in Calgary since his Florida days. However, he can struggle with fast teams, but looks good when playing the California teams.

Goodness gracious your emotional knee-jerk reactions remind me of someone...
Hi :) The Guds could be so much better if he just worked a bit on his skating, defensive coverage and covering for his partner when need be,
shooting--big fella like that ought to have a big shot, mmm. Did I say speed? Oh ya, that goes with skating.
Maybe just a little more contribution to "DROP YOUR GLOVES.com". Optional I suppose.

Good post, and yeah the Guds has always thrived with the right partner.

Solid puck-moving guys like Campbell in Florida and Edler in Vancouver.

Not sure why Green went away from the Edler-Guds combo of last year

... but perhaps we'll see it again soon when Hughes is signed.

Edler - Guds
Hughes - Tanev

:D

Edler/ Guds is a great idea.
For now, Hutton/ Tanev.

Hey Rats; I know it wasn't this year. When was his shot clocked at 100?
Hell, if he's got that, like to see it a lot more.

Never mind, Feb 2018 103.4 !!!!! Now I know I'd like to see it more.

Always nice to see Baubles talking about a player's fancy stats.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Yes because that was the crux of the discussion right?

The guy is just a shitty player by any metric. Most notably the old fashioned eye test

Hutton and Tanev is a good pairing. Edler carried 44 for a half dozen games last year and then the wheels fell off against Vegas. Then 44 got injured..... again. We don’t know if this would work long term. We do know now that Hutton clearly can’t carry 44 for long stretches.
