Yeah, I think his best before date must have expired. He has been great playing on the national team before, but this year... not so much. :mex:
Ya, a few of them around the league! Pretty sure Louis Eriksson is the toast;

Yeah I’ll take the Swede’s opinions over yours thanks.
You do realize the Swede is a secret commie right?
More swedes are closet nazis than commies in my experience.
This comment conjures up perverse images of you and your Swedish wife in the privacy of your own home.

I’m glad they ditched the VANCOUVER

Toss the shitting whale out too. Johnny Canuck with the blue and green. Spaghetti plate for the third jersey.

Or better yet sell the team.

They should use mirror images of the shoulder patches so the stick blades point to the back on both sides instead of one side pointing forward and the other back.

I figured all they would do was lose the word mark, too bad they didn't go back to the stick and rink full time. But it does look better than having the word mark there.

Never been a big fan of the whale logo, but what a difference removing the "Vancouver" makes.

Should have done this years ago. Looks so effin' remedial.
Try to focus on THIS year...

The bold Vancouver denoted arrogance.

Canucks officially part ways and will not resign Matt Brassard. Was only 20.
Numbers game. Too bad.

The logo is more complex than just a rink stick. The original logo was explained as:
  • Rink and stick signify hockey
  • Stick extending across rink outline makes the interior a "C" for Canucks
  • Blue signifies water and the green signifies the mountains of Vancouver.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

The blue and green has always looked good. I'm glad they kept it. Whether the whale had a connection with Orca Bay or not is no longer of relevance, so whatever... it IS a decent nod to the West Coast. With the word mark removed, the logo looks simplified and bold. If you use the spaghetti as a third it's a pretty good set.

...and I agree with Topper, you can't reverse the "rink" as it would no longer be a "C".
