Matheson gets two games...
Would be awesome to see EP on the bench in Pittsburgh with a miraculous recovery.

Dan Carcillo is none too pleased with this moron in Calgary. Yeah, Brain Injury is funny stuff I tell ya. Pure comedy gold!

Try to imagine this, Blobbee at one point not too long ago was 5’-11” - 260 lbs! WTF!! He had to custom all his shirts into the classic Billy Ray Cyrus homemade muscle shirt. Brutal.Blob Mckenzie wrote: ↑Mon Oct 15, 2018 11:58 amHe’s not wrong though. The kid is 165 soaking wet. He’s got thin little bird legs like the Dude. The difference is Dude has a huge shitbag so he’s far heavier. But back in the day when Anne Drennan used to toss the Dude around she’d pick him up by those chicken thighs like a wet rag.micky107 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 15, 2018 10:49 am Yikes!

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I won’t be surprised if we see a different player in Petterson when he comes back, and not for the better. Confidence is a funny thing, Elias had a lot of it, let’s see how much of it he has left when he returns.

He will be fine. He is tiny though. His dad looks like a big strapping guy so maybe he will get bigger and strongerRoyalDude wrote: ↑Mon Oct 15, 2018 5:42 pm I won’t be surprised if we see a different player in Petterson when he comes back, and not for the better. He got two games more than I thought he would. I am glad he was suspended.there will be debate about whether two games was enough, or too much. Not everyone will be pleased. Personally I will accept it. No amount of games can undo the hit or consequences but at least it is something.

You know as I have been watching him I had been thinking it wasnt a matter of if he’d get his bell rung just a matter of when. He displays this uncanny ability to just get out of the way of hits and often I would cring and think, almost. He did a pretty good job absorbing this hit too but could do nothing to protect himself from the throw down. Apparently a number of teams had him ranked 1-2 overall, skill wise. But a number of teams were worried about his physical stature, dropping him on their rankings.

Agreed. I didn't think he'd get any, but the league can't say they're cracking down on head injuries and protecting skilled players while allowing that kind of play to go unpunished. Also, pretty sure that if the Canucks had exacted some on-ice revenge, they league might not have taken this route.Hockey Widow wrote: ↑Mon Oct 15, 2018 5:48 pm He got two games more than I thought he would.
