Imagine having four 1st overall draft picks since 2010, along with a 7th OA, 3rd OA + 4th OA choices and your team is in 26th place after all that.

Not yet....:D

The closest the Canucks ever got to 1st overall was 2nd overall a few times in it's entire franchise history.

1970 - Dale Tallon
1988 - Linden
1990 - Nedved

Plus Brian Burke making mad trades to land both 2nd/3rd overall in 1999 for the Sedins.

I think the Canucks are due.

Definitely. Adding Dahlin for next season would be a massive turning point for this franchise

I am pleased to report that the Sabres lost 4-1 today and the Oilers are losing 3-1. 3 drafts later and the MacDavid and Eichel tankers are in the running for Dahlin. Don't you change Buffalo and Edmonton, don't you change

Well let's see, knee-on-knee AND shoulder-to-head.

Yup, hell folks get suspended for those kinds of hits in this day and age...

Yeah.

Cassie Campbell lives in Calgary and is married to Flames' assistant-GM Brad Pascall.

Yeah, might be a tad biased there.

The hit was as dirty as the day is long and Mr Giordano was rightfully ejected for it.

But the DPS, in their infinite wisdom, ruled no further discipline.

Mr Giordano is something of a knee-on-knee-and-receive-no-suspension specialist.

Just ask Bobby Ryan and Cam Fowler bout dat dere.

And that shoulder to the head, I mean c'mon.

BUT...

Mr Giordano is something of a media/DPS darling.

The worlds longest rebuild in sports history
