He'll probably sign as soon as his season is over and if he doesn't go deep in the Frozen Four you will see him play the last 4-10 games as a Canuck, thus burning a year off his ELC.
Chatefield was looking good, scored a goal, then took an elbow to the face. Left the game, status unknown but I'd be surprised the Canucks take a chance and put him back in, just a silly tournament. Winnipeg got a major, Canucks scored a goal, second PP goal of the game!
Lind with 2 assists, shifty guy great passer.
Juolevi and Boeasr each with a nice rush but other than that playing it safe. Both teams playing a tough brand of hard hitting hockey. Nice to see we have guys who can play that way.
Too bad neither Lind nor Gadovich(sp) are eligible for Utica. Both look ready to play at a higher level but certainly not at the NHL level.
Molino with a nice PP one timer. He's fast, but Utica bound. Defeinetly with call up potential.
MacKewan, Mackenzie and Carcone(sp) play a big mans game.
Don't look now but Cole Lind looks like a young Alex Burrows, smile and all. And that crosscheck he delivered I think it means he plays with a similar edge. I like this kid.
Good game I guess. I liked Chatfield, but he's slow, Lind, Gadjovich, Boeser got better as the game went on, he looks close to being ready but hard to say until the exhibition seasons starts. Chatfield looks like he could be an eventual bottom pairing guy. He plays a mean game but he lacks speed.
I thought Gadjovich looked slower as the game went on. If his feet were as quick as his hands he'd be a star. Needs to find Bo's skating coach. He needs some time to develop. Great hands and nose for the net, but can't forecheck at this level. Could be really good if he picks up a step or two.
Boeser, Molino and Juolevi were playing a higher level game. Molino had an extra gear few others could match.
I though the guy who improved the most as the game went on was Stukel (sp?). He seems like a real good skater, but it didn't show until the third. Not sure if he is in the Canuck's plans. Sign him and send him to Europe for a couple years to see how he develops maybe?
