I’m honestly wondering which team in the Pacific that Vancouver can finish ahead of. Maybe the Coilers?

I think that's a topic worthy of its own thread.

The first one that jumps out of LA, which got a lot of career years out of old, declining players last year to squeak into the playoffs and only managed to score 3 goals and 0 wins.

Coilers are gonna rebound hard this year, they’ll be a playoff team. Their young guys on d will take another step, I could see Matt Benning establish himself as a top 4 guy, nurse should be as good as last year, and Klefbom should bounce back. They’ll get a scoring winger in free agency.

I don't know if a team ever had two in the organization at the same time until now.

But your Vancouver Canucks have Hughes and Leipsic.

And Benning allegedly tried to trade for Jason Demers.

Demers allegedly nixed the trade then... but I wonder if he'd do the same now.

Then trade for Zucker and we'd have them all.

There was Western Canadian interest in Jason Zucker. I asked if that meant Calgary, Edmonton and/or Vancouver, and was told, “Yes.” God only knows if that referred to one, two, or all three of them.

That's interest in all four of the Jewish guys who might play in the NHL next year folks...
