Um, yeah. Me thinks this is a bit too nasty for any reasonable purpose including humor. Just saying.

I had no idea that Reefer needed stupid lessons.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

Evan Bouchard has jumped up the prospect ranks. He has 50 more points than any other defenseman on his team!Reefer2 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 19, 2018 12:41 pm Button's updated list.

He's even more interesting as he played on the same team as Joulevi the previous 2 years (I don't know how much they would've played together).

So realistically Bouchard will be our best shotAaronp18 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 19, 2018 1:47 pmEvan Bouchard has jumped up the prospect ranks. He has 50 more points than any other defenseman on his team!Reefer2 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 19, 2018 12:41 pm Button's updated list.

Yes, seems like a probable option when we don't win the lottery!rats19 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 19, 2018 2:24 pmSo realistically Bouchard will be our best shotAaronp18 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 19, 2018 1:47 pmEvan Bouchard has jumped up the prospect ranks. Re: The 2018 NHL Entry Draft
Bouchard seems like the next Brent Burns (gets a billion shots through the screens/block attempts) or Carlson (frequent comparison), a high booming shot scoring Dman who can occasionally play forward.
Currently he's 4th in the OHL in assists with 62, 2nd in the league in shots on goal with 297.
Powerplay: 10g, 23a. 1 shorthanded goal, 2 shorthanded assists. 7 GWG. 1.3PPG, 2nd in dman goals with 25 behind Hague's 35.

6'2 190lbs he theoretically could make the pro's next season if he has an impressive camp.Originally slated as a mid-to-late first round pick, Bouchard’s offensive performance this year (including four assists in the annual Cherry-Orr Top Prospect game) has put him near the higher end of a lot of draft boards, even as high as the top five.
What scouts also notice about Bouchard is that he is not just an offensive driver; he is regarded as a solid all-around defenseman who has excellent positioning and skating skills. Anyone who is familiar with London head coach Dale Hunter knows that no one will succeed in that system without putting defense first, even if it means risking your own body in the process by blocking shots.

Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

If I'm going to be ecstatic, it's only going to be for Dahlin. I will be "okay" with Bouchard but think I would prefer to go for Tkachuk if we get 2nd.

Orgasmic for DahlinDonCherry4PM wrote: ↑Mon Mar 19, 2018 3:32 pmIf I'm going to be ecstatic, it's only going to be for Dahlin. I will be "okay" with Bouchard but think I would prefer to go for Tkachuk if we get 2nd.

Fair. "Ecstatic" might be understating it a bit.rats19 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 19, 2018 3:36 pmOrgasmic for DahlinDonCherry4PM wrote: ↑Mon Mar 19, 2018 3:32 pmIf I'm going to be ecstatic, it's only going to be for Dahlin. But as HW commented (perhaps sarcastically) what would happen in the Canucks landed the #1 but then went off the board and didn't pick Dahlin. From the heights of bliss to the depths of despair.

Re: The 2018 NHL Entry Draft
Bouchard doesn't play with the edge and grit that Burns does. Button thinks Larry Murphy when it comes to Bouchard comparisons
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau
