And of 22 players listed by the Dude, we have 7 Russians, 9 Swedes, 3 Fins, and 3 Europeans. 6 total with Cup rings. Plenty of the players on that list also disappear quickly come the post season.

Congrats on proving my point for me RD.

Gudbranson to Leaves discussions heating up!!!!

The uber reliable Renaud.
Renaud Lavoie:
I do believe the Leaves are involved in Gudbranson and discussions but you need to look at Tampa as the team looking to bolster the blue line.
A long time ago, a baseball player remarked: "If I owned a ballclub, I'd hire a $5,000 coach and a $15,000 scout."

Any word on who or what is coming to us?

Interesting to see his value.

Would also hinder on him resigning with the team.

I realize that he is the obvious choice and I'm sure these rumors are true, why wouldn't they be. TO needs D help.
They will NOT be easy to deal with in regards to us actually bettering our team.

I know we just acquired Del Zotto but I wish it were him instead.
I know Guds offers no points right now and Del Zotto does but he is super soft and IMO, the worst defense man on the team.
Sorry, got to call it as I see it.

Tampa is stacked with prospects. Hajek+2nd/3rd? Katchook or Raddysh?

Don't know Reef.

The mid-pack teams probably need the 6'5 beast Guds the most.
Halford believes the Tampa Bay Lightning, Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leaves, Florida Panthers, Washington Capitals and Pittsburgh Penguins could all be in the market for Gudbranson ahead of the trade deadline.
Islanders I think probably need him the most due to Boychuk & De Haan out and to keep Tavares happy for the Isles to stay in the playoff hunt.

I think those would advance the Canuck cause.

(It still freaks me out when we agree.)

I'd be fine with either of those. Could definitely see Toronto doing that deal (Tanev has term), in fact I'd ask them to add.

Not sure Gudbranson gets last year's 14th overall, but I wouldn't say no.

Yet another list Rats didn't make it into.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.
