Whoever fetches the best return. That said, I don't think we've seen the best of Hutton yet.

I look forward to seeing what Holm can do out there - especially on the PP.

It will be interesting to see who TG sits to play Holm. Hutton is his whipping boy but if they want to trade him then he’s going to have to play. That basically leaves DJ MDZ until Hutton and/or Guddy gets traded.

It's not a signing, it's a PTO. But if you're right, hopefully MDZ gets dealt. Hutton still has promise and Guds would be good for the team at the right price.

With Goldobin being left off the the roster notes this morning and Holm being called up it seems like a trade. Only odd thing is that it hasn’t leaked and usually there would be some noise by now. Unless it’s Something with the leaves and Lou keeps things very low profile.

Apparently it’s a three year extension. Definitely a year too long but they probably wanted to sync it up with Greens deal. The Aquilinis have proven they will eat money for employees giving a poor performance so if Elmer reverts back to Elmer of June 2014- Dec 2016 he will be gassed long before the deal ends. If he continues to improve like he did from Jan 2017 till the present it’s a good deal.

It’s smart not letting him approach the deadline with no deal.Now do the right thing and deal Gudbranson and Vanek and maybe even another player or two. Anything less than nine or ten picks in this draft is a failure.

^Yup now JB can get to work on wheeling and dealing, hopefully like last deadline by acquire young prospects, this time DEFENSEMEN prospects this team desperately needs.

Besides young dmen with upside a gritty LW who can score would be nice.

Team should make the playoffs in 2 years and then in the final year of both coach and GM they should win a round or two.

If after the 3 years the team is still not progressing, both coach and gm are gone.

If team is progressing they decide if Green can get them over the hump and if Benning can keep them there.
