I know the owner loves his player and is very happy with him and all, but to reveal it now when your guys are battling in the playoffs injured is a dumb move. The last thing u wanna do is give your opponent intel to take advantage of. All it takes is a cheapshot artist to go out and take a wack on Karlsson's heel and he could be gone for the playoffs. He should take a note from the Canucks and not reveal anything. Even in the regular season, we don't really know why our guys are out (from when we had Kassian to present day Gubranson) and it's not even the playoffs.

I know, but it was Karlsson himself that spilled the beans.

Getzlaf fined $10,000 for using a homophobic slur during game four. Funny, Shaw was suspended for one game last year for the same offence. WTF the NHL is so inconsistent it's no longer funny. Now I think if there is to be discipline the fine for first offence is far more appropriate than a suspension but the inconsistency. Treating Getzlaf differently because of his importance to the Ducks is just fowl.
