.......best comment - "it's like Forsberg for Erat" - lol

There are a lot of Forsberg/Erat comparisons out there about this deal. To make it worse, according to Sens fans, is the extension. To me that should make it better. This has Crow written all over it.

By most accounts this is a good deal for Vancouver, until Blob gets her  JK JK JK

I'm not sure if it's drafted by the CHL, or drafted out of the CHL that matters. Unlike Juolevi, he was drafted out of Europe, so I'm not sure that he's subject to the CHL-NHL agreement.

It will be interesting to watch his transition to the small ice.
That would be good. At least get him to Utica next year.

If Rodin's mumpy knee heals we could have our Swedish replacements lined up for the twins

Dahlen
son of Ulf Dahlen... I remember as a North Star and Ranger.
Played well at WJC.
Rated 6th prospect in the Ottawa system.
Hockey Prospects was just on Team 1040 locally raving about this kid. Nice to hear we may have a LW.

If you would have told me that we would get a 2nd round pick, 42nd overall for Burrows I would be happy.

Burrows also signed a 2 year extension

He is playing 2nd division now in Sweden
Next year I would think they would let him play Elite League then bring him over.

He plays centre and left wing. Benning does like versatile forwards.

Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Well then that replaces a lost pick very nicely

Happy for Burrows. Nice to see him get another big payday. One of my all time favourite Canucks. Clutch big goal scorer. Hope he has a few more in him for Ottawa during. Will be cheering for him during the playoffs. GO SENS GO!

He returned more than I thought he would. Anyone not liking this deal for Benning is just bitter.
We are all Jim Benning.

Genius Jim Benning picks up the second round pick he was looking for a year ago.

Better late than never. If he had done this deal last summer people would have been ecstatic. Hopefully people will be pleased now.

I'm sure it was a tough decision for Burrows to move - but it gives him a shot a playoff run or two. I'm sure he even feels good about "helping out the team". He had some issues, but he was a great team that I brought a lot (except maybe last year ;) )

For Dahlen - looks good! Where's Per when we need him???

I see it as acquiring a mid second round pick in the deep 2016 draft, which is better than a second round pick in this year.

Burrows is my favorite Canuck, and I love that he waived to make his departure from the team a huge plus for the franchise's future.

And this deal makes me glad jb stuck to his guns last year and didn't put up with Dallas' games on Hamhuis!
