I'd like to welcome Bubbles to the Genius Jim Bus. There is always room for those who recognize the Genius of Jim.
Though with all his excess baggage, Bubbles may have to ride on the roof.

It looks good RD, no one is saying it ain’t. But this team is still a long way from having a team that can win the cup.RoyalDude wrote:Bubbles, Reef and Nucklehead, no way weez lettin doze 3 on with there stinky urine panties on the bus. It's way to rosey for dat
Life will be interesting, will the Sedins play another season? Do they only want 10 minutes a night?

But bro's and sista's..
Since the mid-90's the American teams been kicking the Canadian team asses in the NHL, now let me tell you why.
A person can write a thesis on this, but I'ma keep it simple stupid for ya funky asses.
American teams have the advantage of numerous teams in football (college to the NFL), basketball (college to NBA), baseball (too numerous) and hockey in which all those American teams SCOUT, SCOUT, SCOUT and scout some more from young prospects to the draft to their opponent's teams, they are masters of when to tank to ALWAYS scouting to keep their team strong in free draft picks, masters.
Which is why this current Canucks team has a grand wizard in Jim Benning - he has that American swagger of scouting and communicating with everyone - he's 24/7 working and scouting, dude is a beast at this GM shit, he's hungry to get a GM role of winning it with him at the helm.
He's creating a culture of hardwork on the Canucks team and competition, along with some super astute drafting.
I mean remember when the Oilers thought winning the 1st overall (first OA) pick numerous times would fix it all??
& the local oil barons and sportsnet created 'Oil Change' thinking they created the next dynasty...but it was all mirage.

Re: The Rebuild...
Where is Will Lock-Stock-and-Barrel-Wood? The prized asset in the Sutter/Bonino trade. Despite the no goals, Gaunce has been impressive enough to be a mainstay in the bottom 6. I could see Sutter being traded when his 15 team modified no trade list kicks in in the last half of his contractCherry Picker wrote:Have to look at the future because the present looks so bleak. The kind of hope this team hasn't seen in a long, long time. Tim Robbins in Shawshank Redemption in that letter to Morgan Freeman - "hope is a good thing"

Re: The Rebuild...
Not to mention other than Juolevi there isn’t a single defenceman in the organization who projects as an nhl player. Unless by some miracle Tryamkin comes back , guys like Stecher, Pouliot and Hutton look like bottom pairing guys at best. I don’t see any top 4 potential let alone top pairing guys other than maybe Olli.Reefer2 wrote:that is a lot of hoping and praying, certainly hope that isnt who you expect to be on the top line.Cherry Picker wrote:

Tryamkin will be back. He's too generational not to be in the NHL. Trust me Bubbles, he's that good. Re: The Rebuild...
What the hell has gone wrong with Hutton?
I saw nothing to indicate his game would become "Lost in Space".
Also see deterioration in Gudbranson, Stecher and even Tanev at times.
Now Puoliot isn't lookin as good either.
Too much to be coincidence. Why are they making bad decisions?
It's way to easy to just pass it off and say they all suck, that isn't an answer.
Something else me thinks.
