Ah, holster the rusty old Colt bb gun.
Just havin fun.
If he's ill, he shouldn't play.
Hell; if he has a bruise, I don't want him to play.
Take no unnecessary chances.

jalen CHATFIELD's profile got updated on dobber's hockey - aka Chris Tanev 2.0
I hope to see Chatfield get some NHL games next season, IF injuries occur.Observations: May 2018 – Chatfield wrapped up his season with two goals and seven points in 60 AHL contests. His role increased as the season wore on and he demonstrated strong defensive ability and good mobility at the professional level. One of the few right-shot defenders in the Canucks pipeline and turning 22 this off-season, the former Windsor Spitfire may be closer to the NHL ranks than some give him credit.
February 2018 – Chatfield has had a successful first season in professional hockey. He’s been a steady player on the back end for Utica despite being a youngster. While his counting stats remain muted – just five helpers in 42 AHL contests, his game lends itself well to the defensive end of the rink. The Canucks’ pipeline is lacking depth on their right side so Chatfield may be closer to the NHL then some other prospects. Just don’t expect much more than filling niche categories in the fantasy landscape.
Cam Robinson June 2017 – The 21-year-old defender is something of a late bloomer. He’s steadily improved his game and added some much-needed maturity both on and off the ice. His junior career culminated with a Memorial Cup Championship with the Windsor Spitfires this spring.
Chatfield, the co-captain of the club, was instrumental at both ends of the rink for the host team and looks like a shrewd free agent signing by GM, Jim Benning. Chatfield possesses good speed, solid positioning and enjoys engaging physically despite not being overly large for his position. -Cam Robinson
Fantasy Outlook: C- A smart and reliable defender with strong skating skills but a limited offensive ceiling.

Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

Re: Canucks Young Guns
The guy the Canucks really want to make room for next season is Sautner. They believe he showed enough to show he was ready for the NHL plus his waiver status next season, and well I’ll be amazed if Hutton survives. I liked what I saw from Sautner, albeit a small sample. I thought he played better each game and displayed an edge to his game I liked. Good skater too.

Where did you hear this?
He looked passable in garbage time I guess. Then again pretty much anyone does when the competition is Hutton, Biega, Pouliott and Stecher.

Don’t remember where I read it but it was just after end of year pressers. Benning was quoted as saying they wanted to make room for Sautner next year. I’ll google and see if I can find it.

Just read that Pettersson broke his thumb at the IIHF tournament in Denmark. Hope its not a bad thumb injury!

Hairline fracture from what I understand. Won't play any mote in this tournament, but I don't think it should affect his future.

Lucky it wasn't something worse.
Hopefully, it will not affect his prep for Canuck's camp in any way.
I was not in agreement with him taking part in the Worlds.
Can play for his country at some later point, W/E.
The Canucks are a business and one that needs a shot in the arm right now.
This kid might be a big part of that.
At least that's the way, IMO, it should be handled.
What a stupid pisser, (an unnecessary one), if all your best young prospects are injured before they get to camp.
