If we stay healthy we will be in the playoffs. Benning is building a team not just adding players for the sake of it. Hockey is team game and sum of the whole applies big time here.

If Eriksson can produce his status quo point total on a line other than the Sedin line, Great!

But if this line is married for eternity, we'd be F**ked.

Too easy for other teams to counter one scoring line.

And Lui is a penalty killer so lots of line juggling, not good.

I don't think the Eriksson deal is that bad. That's the going rate. At least he's a legitimate first line winger. We just got a lot better.

If this move turns the Sedin line into one of the top lines in the league again, it's a steal. With internal improvements from Horvat, Baertschi, Hutton, Granlund, Markstrom, etc., and a relatively healthy season, who knows.
