Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.
I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Apparently, the Canucks were looking around in their old tool-box and found a "Brakett" to help piece their
future together.

Since being promoted in 2015, he has helped JB dig for gold.
I understand 5 or 6 of the current scouting staff are being let go or replaced.
The current regime is entrenching itself deeper each year...

Canucks could have as many as three prospects playing for Team Canada, as Michael DiPietro, Jonah Gadjovich, and Kole Lind have all been invited to the Canadian National Junior Team development camp.

Yeah they might all be in tough to make it as it looks like a good team. But getting invited to the camp is great news. Petersson would seem a lock to make it for Sweden. Not sure if Lockwood had gotten the call for the US

Fwiw, I'm hearing Vegas did approach Benning to try and make an expansion deal. Vegas made a big deal publically and privately that they were going to poach as many D men as possible. Used this to try and get Benning to throw in a pick or prospect for Vegas not taking Sbisa. Benning politely passed. Seems he had been offering Sbisa around as he knew in all likelihood Vegas was going to take him. Didn't get any bites.
Shoulda taken the alleged 2nd that was on the table last summer
So fwiw seems Master Jim was quit willing to let Sbisa go as he had options to protect him. Maybe he did see the warts in his game after all?

The Canucks have signed defenceman Evan McEneny to a two-year, two way deal.
