Lol, great minds....

Drouin with another point. He's showing he belongs.

Yeah, he's really writing himself a new chapter after the hold-out/suspension. Wonder if he still wants out? Yzerman must be pleased, he's helping Tampa win right now, and his trade-value is skyrocketing compared to where it was a month or so ago.

He wanted out because he wanted to play. If he has a role on the team he'll stay. Given he wouldn't clear waivers he'll either be in Tampa's plans or he will be traded. My guess is they will kiss and make up. The contract could be contentious though as I'm sure he probably feels he'll be worth more than what Tampa wants to pay.

I am enjoying watching the defense-challenged Dallas Stars ebbing in the second round - in part due to their choice of Russell over Hamhuis.

Mmmmmm...

They remind me of the WCE era Canucks. No D or goaltending.

Best of both worlds should Dallas lose the series. They get nada for their gamble and Calgary gets a 2nd round pick instead of a first. Takes a little sting out of not trading Hamhuis.

They miss Seguin up front. But they sure could use a goalie.

I agree with the no goalie part. Ohlund, Salo, Jovo, Sopel, Malik and Allen was certainly a more than adequate defence.I think they also could have used a bit more secondary scoring as the twins weren't quite there yet.

Tampa poised to eliminate the NYI. Up 4-0 with about 14 minutes left in the third. No Stamkos? No problem.
