If Spidey is an aging, cancer-ridden asshole that is heavily into narcotics and will eventually die alone... then yes.

OUCH... wdf??

I wasn't even thinking about the character!

Just that Spidey has said he's 60 and has talked in the past about sporting a goatee and going bald.

You say you're 30.

See? :look:

SHEESH.. what's with all the anger around here lately?

First Micky, now you, c'mon guys, lighten up!

Speaking of Fred (RIP) if you look closely

... you can actually pinpoint the exact moment his heart breaks in two:

On the surface, it doesn't look good. His first season here in Dallas, he tallied 14 goals and 20 assists after playing 536 minutes with Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin. 2014-2015 would be lost to hip surgery. This season he tallied 9 goals and 20 assists. Then there was that weird drama about his feelings in Dallas that his agent had to respond to. In the playoffs, he lost his job to Travis Moen. It looks bad, right?

First, a little context. While Benn and Hemsky recovered from their surgeries just fine, everyone's biology is different. It's quite possible that Val, in his youth, responded to his injury different. Something I suspect could have been as much physiological as psychological.

Basically, the consistency he enjoyed his rookie season was nowhere to be found this season.

There will be a lot of Val talk in the coming weeks. After all, silly season is coming up. He's a shiny potential trade piece for any team looking to get younger and rebuild. But Hemsky and Sharp are UFA's after next season. Dallas doesn't have a whole lot of depth at wing in their system. More to the point, Nichushkin and Guryanov represent the only blue chip wingers in Dallas' system. Who knows.
Offer up Virtanen? and Rodin?

Team needs more potential young top 6 wingers asap to help out on our 2nd line, Nuke fills the role to a T.
Why would we offer up 2 prospects to get 1??
I thought the idea is to get more depth, and who is to say what Rodin or Virtanens potential is??

It's a bit early to give up on Virtanen, and nobody has seen what Rodin has developed into...

Just trying to get an idea of what YOU consider "not looking stupid" Freddy.
Don't care bout spelling, seems good enough to get you on the defensive.
Never have lied about any accomplishments, past or present, on this board.
Have never created a sock account anywhere.
I'm certainly not the only one ever threatening to beat people up, metaphorically, maybe.
You make yourself look stupid every time you absolutely must "one-up" or two or ten, your advisory.
And last but not least. Your stickin up for your ole bud Spidy who in case you haven't noticed, it just rippin at almost everyone, (swearing, insulting, vulgarity), even when their just making hockey posts. why?
You tell me, WTF is that? Fun? Not always and not to everyone, just sayin..

You shouldn't do speed then, prunes.

Wow, you are impressive, I would say I am a good looking hairy really fast 6'3 210er but I would be lying :D

We should just compare dick sizes (I would win, again  ) and end this as it is pissing off the lesser IQs ('Hi' Beelzeblob) on this here CC.

Come out to play some ball hockey this Summer bro, you can show me all those mad skills and quickness you keep bragging about...y'know...no more internet BS bravado...we can even have or own 3 on 3 teams and play for charity...

SEDINS SUCCESSION PLAN:

Sign Stamkos.

He's 9 years younger than the Sedins, can lead the pack after they are long gone and in the meantime can help this team win now on the quick rebuild-on-the-fly plan, I'd actually prefer this than trying to sign Lucic/Ladd and Brouwer contracts.

Suts moves over to the Sedin wing for the next 2,3 years.

Then after next season, 2017, more vets move on and in comes Dubois/Tkachuk and Boeser.

And with Stamkos, Sedins, Horvat more UFA of the collegiate variety and others will be more enticed to sign here.
