Career Milestones 2015-16

Post by Southern_Canuck »

So Henrik is 84 points away from 1,000... Wow! He probably won't make it this season, but I never thought I would see a Canuck in the record books for 1,000 NHL points!

Henrik is also likely to pass Linden's 1140 games for the Canucks; he is currently at 1093.

Speaking of Canuck games played - Daniel is at 1062, and could also surpass Linden barring injury.

Daniel also has a shot at passing Naslund for most Canuck goals all-time - Naslund had 346 and Daniel is currently at 328 - and Daniel will likely pass the 900 point mark this season - he is at 884.

Here are some other Milestones to look for:
Burrows 700 games (current 689)
Sutter 500 games (current 496)
Sutter 100 goals (current 99)
Sutter 200 points (current 187)
Hamhuis 300 points (current 291)
Hansen 500 games (current 471)
Hansen 200 points (current 185) - surprising how close Hansen's stats are to Sutter's... not including his salary.
Tanev 300 games (current 227)
Vrbata 900 games (current 872)
Prust 500 games (current 452)
Prust 1000 PIM (current 992)
Edler 600 games (current 569)
Edler 200 assists (current 193)
Dorsett 100 points (current 98)

(Some players in Henrik's sights: 96. Neal Broten 923, 92. Chris Chelios 948, 88. Maurice Richard 965, and maybe Dave Keon in 86th place with 986 points)
111. Daniel 884 - just needs 24 points to catch Scott Stevens in 100th place at 908 points!

The Sedins just need to get a bit chippier, so they can challenge Odjick for all time PIM...

What's freaky is that they both may reach the 1000 point plateau the same season, next year. What a celebration that will be when they both hit test milestone.

That would make him13th in all time PIM among NHL Swedes, but actually trailing both Öhlund and Näslund.

Most penalised Swede is Ulf Samuelsson, whose 2453 minutes actually have Gino beat.
Second place held by Börje Salming, but his 1344 would only amount to a fifth place among Canucks...
Still worse than Tiger and Brashear though, which is kind of surprising. :?

Per is also nearing a career milestone. He has designs on viewing his second real-life vagina this weekend.

whoah, slow down there. the list we have here is for career numbers as a Canuck while you are quoting the players total career numbers. As Canucks, Ulf Samualsson and Salming both have 0 minutes, which just goes to show you how soft those Swedes are. (See what happens when I compare apples to apelsin?) :P
