What makes you think the Habs are in need of a 32-yr-old, 3rd-line winger?

Because they will know what they've got with Zach by then.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

True story: Last time the Habs had Higgs, he was a party animal (which is why they dumped him).

He had it pretty bad back in the day, but not near as bad as you-know-who (allegedly) has it now.

And now... Mr 'iggins is a glue-factory guy.

Wonder how Zack's back is....

Higgy's numbers in his first few years with the Habs were actually pretty good; a solid 20G guy and almost 30G one year, good enuff for a 2nd line and sometimes 1st line player. Maybe the Habs will want him back. :D

Yeah Todd, maybe the Habs are too stupid to notice that since that 27-goal season, eight years ago

... Higgins has scored 90 goals in 451 games (16 goal pace).

Maybe they'd just want to smell his breath first AND THAT'S IT!

LOL... "almost 30G".

I think Higgins could fetch a 3rd from someone, but it might be a hard sell right now with all the guys on PTO's and waivers. Do you give up a draft pick for Higgins coming off a busted foot, or sign Glencross for nothing but cap space?

Not if Benning is on the other end of the phone.

The funny thing is Benning is exactly the kind of GM that would overpay for a Higgins type. Forget production and ability, just look at his effort, professionalism and "glue"-factor.

Doc, unless you're being sarcastic (sadly I'm beginning to think you're not) you are completely delusional in regards to Benning.

One of us is eventually have to eat some crow; better see if Topper has any good recipes for you. :P

Yeah there's a few people that'll be slamming crow in the next 12-24 months . Hopefully Iggy doesn't do too much damage en route to a high pick this year and next . Take away his phone Franceso .
