The Canucks YoungStars Classic will take place Friday, September 11 – Monday, September 14, 2015 in Penticton BC’s beautiful state-of-the-art South Okanagan Events Centre . The tournament will feature a number of notable NHL prospects from the Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers and Winnipeg Jets.

Canucks look a little slim in the goaltenders for this tourney.

Thought they would have had 1 or 2 more there.

Compared to the other teams they look a little slim at all positions. It will take time to build up the prospect base to where it is a strength of the organization . The key is to stop trading picks. It's getting better but lacks in high end talent.

Lukas Jasek is playing a 2nd year with HC Trinec in the top Czech leaque this year. He just turned 18 last week. Very impressive for such a young guy.

He's just 20 years old though. Assistant captain on the Winterhawks last winter.
