Well the point was to make it sound over the top ridiculous and silly because well it is ridiculous and over the top silly.
You take yourself far too seriously.
Sorry I forgot my smileys. Just thought people could read silliness and see it as silliness.

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread
So Lou took 2.5 million per for the next 2 years in cap space from the leaves in Matt martin. Lou is the gift that keeps on giving.
Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread
Silliness is Lou taking on Matt Martin's salary or is it maybe Lou is doing the MAPLE LEAF a favor... gonna be a great summerHockey Widow wrote: ↑Tue Jul 03, 2018 1:21 pm Well the point was to make it sound over the top ridiculous and silly because well it is ridiculous and over the top silly.

Tavares told the Islanders not to trade him at the deadline as he would be re-signing with them.olpaddy wrote: ↑Tue Jul 03, 2018 11:58 am It really is amazing how people around here lose their shit over THE MAPLE LEAF and how one player who granted is in his prime decided he wanted to play for a team that he grew up cheering for and left his present one who has one playoff series win in 23 years and has been not a stable team on or off the ice and and left more money and years on the table to go home and for that the KNIVES are out is fascinating Instead of being thankful as a Canuck fan he decided not to go to U know SAN JOSE cause that really effects us he chose to go home ...
This captain fucked his team over with this lie... he is an evil, evil man.
On a side note, TO was a soft team last year and has now given up their 3 most physical players.
(Komarov, Martin, Polak)
Weenie team, crap dee group, choke goaltender, and Captain Backstabber.

They are plugs who did not play much. Martin was always a healthy scratch. Komarov was 7th in time-on-ice among forwards, was your #1 centre on your PK, and has never been a healthy scratch.BigTuna wrote: ↑Wed Jul 04, 2018 12:12 pmThey are plugs who did not play much. Polak was sat out early in the season but played played all games down the stretch and throughout the playoffs.
Polak was 5th among Leaves defencemen in time-on-ice in the regular season as well as playoffs.
Martin did not start getting benched until late January and soon after Leaves started getting pushed around.
Did you see how the Bruins manhandled them in the playoffs?
Admit it, Leaves pussiness is one of their 4 weaknesses moving forward, they're going to miss those guys...

I saw the leaves lose Kadri to suspension, have the more penalties called against them, saw .896% goaltending, most of their core not play well and they still had the lead up until the 3rd period of game 7. You are bringing up plugs who were not very good. Komorov's TOi was a massive issue with Leaf fans all year. Babcock overplayed him.

Re: The Official CC "All Thing Leaves" thread
Right up until the physical playoffs...
Oh yes, I should have counted Kadri's loose screw among Leaves’ weaknesses….
Another weakness I neglected to point out….
This was covered under “crap dee group” and “choke goaltender”.
... due to “weenie team” getting pushed around in the playoffs.
Yup, right up until they… wait for it… CHOKED due to “crap dee group” , “choke goaltender”, “team weeniness”.
Leaves gave up 4 goals in the 3rd period of a Game 7!
Casual fans tend to notice when a player is struggling offensively
…. but tend not to appreciate grit and great defensive play (Komarov).
Lamoriello (the guy you used to worship) was quick to bring 2 of these gritty guys to the Islanders.
