It seems to me JD brought Torts in specifically to deal with RyJo.

Well ya gotta know that the rats were shitting/pissing in the bags of flower in the cupboards of the kitchen at Vic's restaurant. Feel bad for UDL.

The original Vic was such a nice dude. He was originally located in the Hildon Hotel when I went in there as a kid before relocating to this spot...

I worked in the old Woodwards as the fishing expert up in sporting goods lol. Ahhh the good old days....I probably knew the dude when he was hiding under tables at the 5

My grandmother used to take us shopping at Woodwards, we'd hop the bus downtown from her place at 41st and Granville, and then across Hastings Street to the White Lunch for a grilled cheese sandwich. The long narrow room had mirrors on opposite walls and a young Topper got his first glimpse of infinity.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Yikes Toppy, there were no mirrors at the White Lunch!

At the White Lunch, "grilled cheese sandwich" was code for L S D

Your grandmother must have been slightly twisted...

Woodwards was the first place my pals and I headed for when we walked downtown.

From about age 10.

We liked to throw our homemade mini "bombs" out the windows of the 6th floor stairwell.

We made them from caps and pellets we borrowed from the toy section.

Then we'd borrow some bingo chips and head to the basement Food Floor.

We'd use those in the candy machines to fill the bags we brought with.

Then we'd head over to theater row where we sneak into a movie or two.

Later we'd use homemade slugs in the arcades until bedtime.

Didn't need money back in the day to have a good time. :mex:

Thank God they didn't have any security at Woodwards back in the day...

Homemade slugs. Now that brings back memories. Whatever it took to save you a quarter, even if it cost a nickel.

Woodwards had the best xmas decorations.
A long time ago, a baseball player remarked: "If I owned a ballclub, I'd hire a $5,000 coach and a $15,000 scout."

Maybe it's the alcohol talking, but I approve of this story.
