So it goes something like this. Bonino, Sbisa, 24th and Dorsett for Kesler, sort of, in a round about way.
The only HW the Canucks need

For Kesler and a 3rd.

Kesler and a 3rd in 2015. Will it be 61st or 90th?

Dorsett played for Desjardins his entire Junior career so I suspect Willie had some input here. He was a hard working stool disrupter who stuck up for his teammates. They had some small feature players like Kris Russell and Tyler Ennis so there was a lot of sticking up to do. A fan favorite.

I think he will be well received here. He has that certain je ne sais quoi that some posters like to have on the team.

If it's 61st we win a cup in the next decade.

They weren't Willie's guys. A few years too early. Maybe Darren Helm and Kris Russell.

This guy is not worth a third-rounder when we just traded Weise for a 5th and Garrison for a 3rd.

We have shitloads of cap space and these kinds of players are easily available as UFAs.

Hopefully there's a master stroke imminent this afternoon, because so far the value Benning has gotten for these assets is fucking terrible.

If we were the Leaves we'd all be laughing our asses off at them right now.

*not asking you, Skyo; I know you will never be anything but thrilled by any move made by any Canucks GM for the rest of time

I'm just not a happy-no-matter-what-the-trade-or-signing is kind of type Sky.

I'd be thrilled if we'd landed the 10th and Bonino for Kesler. And I think a 3rd for Dorsett is shitty value when draft picks are so important for this franchise right now. The more swings you can take in the draft, the better the chances you belt a homer.

The Garrison trade doesn't bother me much, but I think his contract made him worth a 2nd-rounder.

So there you go.

Oh shit, so they did. Kinda multi-tasking over here.

*closes youporn*

Fine with the Gary trade then. :)

No.

They got a 2nd rounder for Garrison + 7th rounder + prospect.

Fixed.

Seriously WTF is a Costello and who cares about 7th rounder. Teams pick their dogs with that pick.

They could very well draft the next Pavel Datsyuk with that pick AP18! :P
