Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Out of respect, let's leave thread to discuss Gino's battle with his health problems.

If needed, start another thread about who's should be considered for the Ring of Honour.

I would like to propose that the 29th home game of every season be Gino-night!

Nice idea.

In the end i don't care if he's officially honoured by the Canucks, everybody can feel free to remember him. Make yourself a "ring of honour" on your own wall at home.

I framed 2 Gino player cards (front and back of the same card) 14 years ago and he's still smiling at me in my kitchen.

I think we should start writing his eulogy. Let the writers and poets take at it. Let those that saw him the most relive a memory, funny moment, a statement on what Gino meant to you, a poignant thank-you, or an overall good story. Send them off to Gino when we reach a 100 eulogies!

I like this idea the best. ROH and raising a # to the roof should be reserved for honouring statistical excellence. Gino's contribution to the Canucks were less stats based and more heart/fan based.

And what better way to do this than in the way Clam suggested.

I award you 4 Sestitos and an Odjick for this excellent idea.
