I'm seriously beginning to question whether the NHL should be handing out suspensions for such cut and dry attempts to injure.

Well if they did perhaps players would think twice, esp in the dance.

Lucic scored too, but they didn't count it.
Homie needs his detroit wingman for the cockblock.

Should be a suspension, but it won't be. League is a joke.

He recently did the same thing to Emelin, got caught on video, laughed about in the post game media scrum...almost like he knows his owner runs the league. Almost.

Some true BS from the Bruins tonight. Glad the Wings got it done, and on a beauty by the Datsyukian one.
Howard looked shaky, Rask looked poised.
Detroit will only pull this off if they can maintain the puck possession game we saw tonight.
Corey Perry is a douchebag.....that was a spear, not a slash. Both him and Lucic highlighted why the current NHL version of discipline isn't getting it done.

The NHL has really screwed up the rule book, because the way it's written right now, no one is going to get called for spearing in the playoffs. A spear is 5 and a game (if the stick makes contact). Hell, if you go to spear someone and miss, it's a double minor. What ref in his right mind has the balls to call that?
