The move I could see is Gillis losing the GM tag and Gilman or even Henning becoming GM.

Gilman seems like the logical choice as the team's next GM, IMO.

Enough with the old.

In with the new!!

We need a GM that doesn't have any emotional ties to any of the current players or the team for that matter.

I wonder how much it cost to pry Lamoriello out of the Devil org.

Agree - not too worried about the scouts but a new GM and assistant is what is needed.

As dbr said we cannot get rid of everyone, their time will come.

Seriously, am I the only one who looks at the schedules of Canucks/Stars/Coyotes

... and calculates that his Vancouver Canucks could steal that last playoff spot if they went 9-2 in their last 11?

Canucks play 8 of their last 11 at home!

Is it okay that I love that you bothered to calculate those numbers and gave me a shred of hope here in the land of big Al?
Jesus can't be heard here very well, so hope goes by the name Slim...

As for the playoffs...sign me up for making the playoffs on the last day, drawing the the dicks or skanks and upsetting all the fuckers around here who want us to tank by pulling the ol "8th place upset in 7 games"

Yup, the Hockey Gods don't reward tanking in the long run.

Seriously, I went through the 3 schedules and went with the odds on win/lose (no OT pts).

Canucks have the easier schedule of the 3 by far.

I know it doesn't happen very often, but it's possible 90 points would be enough to grab that last spot.

Meaning Canucks would need to go 9-2 (they would win the tie-breaker).

To be honest, I calculated Canucks to go 8-3.

But hey, with a little bit o' bloomin' luck...

Yes, because the tense is incorrect.
Over the Internet, you can pretend to be anyone or anything.

I'm amazed that so many people choose to be complete twats.

Yup, you're probably the only one who thinks that. But considering you also thought Luongo was a buyout candidate and that Eddie Lack is better than Luongo this doesn't surprise me. We all know his this story ends...

To answer the thread question: David McNab should be brought in as our next GM.
