I just caught his post game interview. It was hilarious. Bernier seems to be pretty upset that anyone is suggesting it was his fault.
Yet another reason he'll never be Patrick Roy.

The question he got was a joke. Something like do you appreciate the confidence the coach has for not pulling you tonight? Were you glad he didn't pull you?

Bernier just asked him what he meant. It was a stupid question. Do you think you should have been pulled? Bernier asks why. Reporter says oh to change momentum, to mix it up or maybe one or two bad goals. Bernier just does the deer in the headlights thing after that.

Really the reporters are dumb asses. You don't ask those questions. It's like asking a player who is a minus 3 if he is grateful he wasn't benched.

But ya, I agree it was a pretty funny interview

He takes the blame for ONE of the 5 goals.

Reporter: "Do you appreciate not getting pulled?"

Bernier: "Why would I get pulled??"

Face it elevator-farter, you've been stinking it up for two straight games....

Don't worry folks, I'm not gonna brag about predicting a goaltender meltdown at the centre of the universe.

leaves get pounded 6-1 against Carolina. The semi is flying off the cliff, they drop to 10th place in the Eastern Conference.

Edit: Great Minds... beat me to it.

Strange night, Minnesota and Phoenix are clearly superior to us but both lost tonight and are behind us.

Sens get past the leaves in the standings.

Habs beat the Hawks in OT, thanks to some sloppy play by Seabrook/Keith/Kane. :o

The leaves are doing so bad, the Sens fans are starting to come out of hiding.

Wait a minute...

So there was a fight in the Toronto-Montreal game. Gloves came off, punches traded and a knocked down, not by a punch but as a result of a little wrestle. So they both get two for roughing.?!?!?!

Now I watch that and compare that with what we just went through with these 7 minute penalties and I can't figure it out!

Don't bother trying, it will only result in a headache.

the reality is that this is only year four of the rebuild that started when we drafted Taylor Hall. The good news, if you can call it that, is that other teams that committed to fundamental rebuilds went through the same kind of droughts over the same kind of time frames, or longer. That doesn't make it fun for anyone; it just means we have to stay the course.
Stay the course is probably the last thing I'd want to hear if I were a fan. Christ, what a shit show. I cannot believe that they want to say the first 4 years of missing the playoffs don't count towards "the rebuild".
