Gotta hand it to the leaves spanking Chicago tonight. Like to see teams ahead of us lose. I wonder if this will bring that big sucker, er I mean tuna, out.

I'm happy for him that he has found a home in Toronto. Maybe next year they will give him a five year four million per.

Whoa! What is Mason '$1 million' Raymond doing with 10 goals and 14 assists? Fuckin' Hell! 4 helpers last night? Always thought he was a good playmaking winger when him and Kesler had that good chemistry going once

Go David '$4.2 million' Booth with his top shelf stick handling, gretzky like passing, and extreme high IQ vision on the ice and anticipation of the play, great on the cycle!
“Tyler Myers is my guy... I was taking to Scotty Bowman last night and he was bringing up his name, and saying he’s a big guy and big guy need big minutes to play, he is playing great for ya… and I agree with him… He’s been exceptional” - Bruce Boudreau

Welcome to the NHL, kid. :mex:

Alotta Leafers screaming for a suspension on this hit, prompting Shanny & Co to put out a quick memo:

NHL Player Safety @NHLPlayerSafety - In looking at Bortuzzo/D'Amigo, we see unavoidable head contact on an otherwise full body hit. Will not be pursuing supplemental discipline.

Bortuzzo caught him with yet another thunderous hit later in the game.

D’Amigo went down hard at 10:19 of the third period when Robert Bortuzzo got him with a mid-ice shoulder to the head. D’Amigo left the game, presumably to go to the quiet room. He came back, though. His next shift, Bortuzzo got him again — at 14:38. D’Amigo left the game for good.
Bortuzzoed him!

Penguins 3, Leaves 1. :mex:

Wasn't Pittsburgh playing this game with 4 or 5 rookie Dmen?

Yeah, their entire top 4 dee are injured: Letang, Martin, Orpik, Scuderi.

Letang and Martin average 25 minutes per night.

Also depth defenseman Engelland is suspended.

Not to mention two of their best forwards were out: Malkin + Neal.

Plus four 3rd liners in Megma, Glass, Bennett, and Ebbett.

But hey, no problemo, it's just the Leaves. :mex:

leaves are a decent team, but have tons of injuries down the middle if I understand correctly.

I think at full health, they should make the playoffs before getting crushed by Pitsburgh, Boston, Tampa, or Montreal in the 1st round.
