He'll be back.

I think I just like the fact that he skates well and is 6'6". I'm sure he does need some seasoning in the AHL before playing much of a role in the NHL!
Yeah I was hoping he would stick on the 4th line, but a year in the A will do him some good.

After the display Eager put on against the Canucks in 2011, San Jose couldn't get rid of him fast enough.
These oiler/canuck games are now going to be that much more interesting now.

Eager with the verbal threats, shanaban will be watching these next few games live me thinks. :o
Can the Canucks just win a Cup within the next 5 years.

And with BB in cowtown it will be even better. You can smell the hatred he has of the Canucks from here. Even a greater rivalry brewing in Aborta
I love every move Jim Benning makes 8-)

Yeah, and he played sooooooo many minutes for Edmonton last season.

Dunno about you guys, but there is reason to hope that the boys have turned a corner in the toughness department. Not so much about the Gagner incident, but watching the guys lay the body on the Oilers on Saturday night was heartening. Don't know about the odd-man rushes, but if we're going to see more physicality from this crew - especially against the likes of Edmonton - then I think it will bode well this season.
Love the Sport. Love the Team.

Hate the League.

Just carelessness of the stick, purely accidental.
Kassian should get a game or two for that. It was pretty reckless use of your stick, he needs to have control over it at all times.

Keep your stick down and all he does is whack him in the pants or shin pads. He spun his arm around to try and get a piece of Gagner but clearly didn't realize how much he missed the hit by.

The fact that his stick came up and broke Gagner's jaw is worthy of a suspension. My guess - the rest of the pre-season and one or two regular season games.
OMG AP, are you sporting a leaves jersey and hat now? We have all seen that exact play hundreds of times, most players do that when a guy tries to dodge the hit, the stick always flies around like that, but usually it hits the the guy around the hip or in the arm. What you're saying is that Kassian should get a couple of games for being way bigger than Gagner, and also because Gagner ducked?

Booth and Corrado aren't dressed as well, but yeah this will pretty much be it. My bet (hope) is that Sestito sits most nights.
