Lafreniere was pegged by everyone as being an Eichel/AM34 talent. He’s looked like one of the worst 1st overalls of all time since he’s stepped in the league. Daigle, Yakupov, and Stefan have all outplayed him. He needs to wake up and at this point I doubt he actually does with usWould trade Lafreniere or Kakko for JT Miller at this pointApparently from what I am reading they are all over Gallant for his line combos and Panarin refuses to play with Kakko or Lafrenyay. You can only win so many games in the NHL playing as poorly as the Rangers have. They are lucky to have 6 wins with the way they have played as a team. Something has to change with this line up. They are what 10 games in and nothing is changing in terms of a team learning a new system or cohesiveness
Maybe Gallant wasn't such a good idea lol

Pretty smart for Buffalo to take the Vegas package over the one rumoured from Calgary with Tkachuk.

Lafreniere is three years younger than Petterson. Little soon to write him off a couple weeks after his 20th birthday. The guy has played 66 games and has 15 goals. Not great but it’s a bit early for all the chicken littles.

Very smart. Matthew is a trouble maker that will only get worse with time. His rep with the officials alone is enough to stay away from.Cherry Picker wrote: ↑Thu Nov 04, 2021 6:29 am Pretty smart for Buffalo to take the Vegas package over the one rumoured from Calgary with Tkachuk.

Vegas playing with house money on Eichel's surgery and recovery?

Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
Tuch's breakaways were Canuck killers. Glad to see him going east. He has a long, cheap contract for what he brings. Nice pick up for Buffalo once he's healthy. Eichel's a monster if he fully recovers, but Vegas has a lot of pricy contracts now. Even with him, their depth should suffer and they've traded away a lot of prospects, so cheap quality fill-ins might be hard to find to give quality depth. They might become as top heavy as the Oilers. They'll have better players, but we'll see if they are a better team.
Of course, if Eichel never recovers, they're toast.

Vegas didn't really give up that much for an elite center in his prime when you really break it down. A decent winger, a future 2C and a mid to late first.
The discount must be due to the injury and recovery

Canucks better get things straightened out, the division is only getting more difficult after this season.

Kevyn Adams tweeted that Tkachuk was not part of Calgary's trade proposal. Anyway, typical outcome for the flames. Bridesmaids againCherry Picker wrote: ↑Thu Nov 04, 2021 6:29 am Pretty smart for Buffalo to take the Vegas package over the one rumoured from Calgary with Tkachuk.

Any of those Oiler twats!
I especially despise that smug, holier than thou Dave Tippett motherfucker.
Didn't like him as a player.
Didn't like him as a Stars or Coyotes coach.
Don't like him now.
I can respect this.

It's probably for the better. I was luke warm to the trade at best, so I'm not upset that we didn't get him.donlever wrote: ↑Thu Nov 04, 2021 8:50 amThey should have kicked something in.BCExpat wrote: ↑Thu Nov 04, 2021 8:42 amKevyn Adams tweeted that Tkachuk was not part of Calgary's trade proposal.
