Quite a few mediocre D still unsigned though.
Oh, for sure! It's a gold mine. Many roads travelled... Huh?

Be nice to go new this time round and forget the retreads. Forget Sami Vatanen, 5'10. Not what we need. Sure, the temptation for what Travis Hamonic
could bring but he aint gonna be as cheap as some think, heavy mileage too Pretty big presence to just throw into the fold, (IMO). If this year is good for anything, it's for us to set-up for the next four or five. Sure like to use are own prospects.

Sadly, it seems Benny Hutt's head is still messed up from that overpayment he received here and he's still out there chasing that money fix he's never going to get again.

Lol, everyone knows Dude is giving you the gears for openly despising players like Burrows/Cooke/etc for decades

... yet now lusting after super rat Tkachuk.
And yet I don’t “lust” after Tkachuk.... adorable story though. I just would rather have seen the Canucks draft him and have the far superior asset. “Everyone knows” this.

Julien is a decent coach. Might be better to see who else is available in the off season. Same goes for the GM position. Only thing I hope Aquilini does is hire a president if there is a good option available.

I was merely curious if Burrows may use some of his old moves behind the bench. It appears some folks want to derail the thread as per usual and build straw men.

Doyle you hate the pest type players, passionately. You have bemoaned this many times as we witnessed your consistent hate on for Cooke and Burrows, not sure why you struggle with our confusion when we see how much you like Tkachuk who is considered the games number 1 pest right now. It’s weird

Some folks struggle with basic English. I guess we can hope they don’t pass on their stupidity to their kids, but that’s probably asking a bit much.

I do not like Matt Tkachuk. But he is an infinitely better asset than Olli Juolevi will ever be. For whatever reason (crack, meth, booze, god knows what else he’s taken over the years) the skulletted one can’t tell the difference.

I wondered out loud whether Burrows would use his biting or hair pulling skills with the players. Maybe a guy gets a nip if he loses his man or his hair gets yanked if he is out for too long of a shift.

Somehow Matt Cooke and Matt Tkachuk are relevant to my query. Very odd. But two things here; basic English language skills should not be taken for granted and career substance abusers make little sense when they begin to rant and rave.

Man, Bergervin must want the playoffs bad. They're still doing pretty good and still in the playoff picture, but they can their coach. Despite the inconsistency in Van-City and poor performance, it looks like Nucks mgmt is standing pat with their man, Greener.

Gotta say, Toffoli plays like Brett Hull when he plays us, but seems to be pretty average against everyone else. The Habs can have him. Nice to see Burr back in the NHL though.

I liked Schenn when we had him. He was pretty good helping Huggy get his feet wet in the NHL too (think Tanev was injured then). I think we don't have the room for Schenn atm though, as Hamonic should be back soon. Maybe in the offseason, if we need a cheap guy to be a #6-#7 for us.

Blackhawks announce a new logo.

Same as the old one but looking the other way.
