Small Man Syndrome
I'd like to see Gerber and Alex Debrincat go against Tyler Myers some day just for the sheer spectacle of it.

Who would your money be on in that match up?

Put my money on Myers. Gerbe’s skates would slice right through Debrincat’s shoulders.

The strategy would be interesting in such an unconventional match up. I could see Gerbe and Debricat fanning out wide to try to get behind Myers or to grab a leg from the side. Myers would probably look to back up against the boards and try to force them into a more direct attack. Myers could definitely catch one of them coming in with a punch and then easily finish the other one off, but I think Gerbe and Debrincat should prevail seven times or so out of ten.

it'd be damned fun to watch though...

Myers might want to avoid an upper-cut from Gerbe; yikes.

Bowen Byram has 18 points in 9 games!

He may face a suspension for blowing up a kid with a hit the other night. I can see why the Cook would hate a physical specimen like this.
Yeah. Chef being bullied in his youth really has him opposed to guys who can rumble.

I get the aversion.....he's a product of his own past. But can he really blame anyone but himself.....I mean what did he expect running around in fluorescent spandex and a mullet?
Mëds smacking the Cook around.

Bogosian on waivers for contract termination.

Sign him to a Kovalchuk contract, then you can trade Stecher for whatever you can get (or Tanev if you're a wild man like Do to).

Just sign him and keep everyone, so we have depth when we meet Boston in the playoffs.
Don't need to make that mistake again.

BOS: Ondrej Kase
ANA: 2020 1st round pick, David Backes (25% retained), and Axel Andersson

Why can't we move out our crappy contracts? Seriously NJ couldn't have taken Baertschi in the Simmonds(50% retained) deal?
or hell LA couldn't hold 10-30% of the contract so we can make Simmonds fit.

Their forum fans have filled 17 pages already. Most of them are meh, hesitant. Depth third liner. Oh well, we wont see till the finals..

Kase, who has missed the last five games with flu-like symptoms, will be on the ice in full on Monday, per Sweeney. Will make an evaluation after that on his return to play. "Will make sure he's 100 percent before we implement him." #NHLBruins
