I just want to be entertained, Top. The NHL is in the business of entertainment, correct?Topper wrote:Hind sight is a euphemism for having your head up your ass.
Kassian is damn entertaining.
He's like the anti Linden Vey. Lindey Vey sucks.
Just looking at pictures of the guy makes me laugh.
If you're having a bad day, just Google Image some Zack Kassian action.
Like what is even going on in this picture?

I think he's trying to count how many Penalty minutes he's accumulated that night.herb wrote:I just want to be entertained, Top. The NHL is in the business of entertainment, correct?Topper wrote:Hind sight is a euphemism for having your head up your ass.

But seriously, I have to agree with you on Kaptain Kave Man Kassian. The guy just seems to want to raise hell and have fun out there. I can live with that and the lost hair that it would cause because at least he's not twinkle-toes Vey out there. He's both fun and aggravating at the same time - which beats depressing and aggravating in Vey's case IMHO. If only WD could live with it too - it's not like they're contending anymore.

Topper and the dude will likely get their wish . I don't see Kassian here past the draft .

In much the same manner that Harold Druken was.Lancer wrote:Kassian is damn entertaining.
I really don't care if they keep him another year, I just don't think he's going to "get it".

Babcock reportedly in contract negotiations this a.m., as I type this, with the Buffalo Sabres. Some reports indicated the deal could be a lifetime type contract reported to be near $50 million USD. Babcock has indicated he will make a decision regarding Buffalo as early as possible today.
Don Sweeny named new GM in Boston.

All those annoying Red Wings fans at the office would be gutted, AND this would increase the odds that Eichel actually ends up being better than McDavid.
Wouldn't it be awesome for the Oilers to have picked the wrong player in both the Taylor/Tyler and McJesus/Eichel sweepstakes?
Re: Around the league (signings, RFAs injuries)
Apparently the Babcock sweepstakes is down to Toronto and Buffalo. He is supposed to decide today.
Detroit's final offer was reportedly 5 years @ $4M per.
McKenzie has said the leaves made an aggressive offer. I doubt billionaire Pegula will be outbid, though, and Buffalo has the brighter future. Bozak or Eichel...hmmmmm.

Where were you guys getting your info?
http://www.tsn.ca/leaves-and-blues-last- ... s-1.287208
It's down to Toronto and St. Louis.
Blues could be a really good fit for Babs.....a fairly loaded team that is ready to take that next step, and he could be the guy to help them do it.
leaves will be a disaster for him. Part of me hopes they get him and everything continues to go to shit.
